Каждая из двух новых палеток – самодостаточна и вариативна. Имея одну из этих палеток можно создавать разнообразные макияжи под любой случай, так как оттенки сочетаются между собой, и поддаются легкому нанесению и растушевыванию. Не нужно обладать какими-то высокими знаниями в области мейкапа, чтоб хорошо нанести эти тени. Они также полукремовые (мягкие), наносятся кистью, но, если вы хотите получить еще более насыщенный эффект можете задействовать палец.
Все оттенки хорошо пигментированы, и даже на первый взгляд бледные цвета не являются таковыми, то есть они переносятся также, какими мы их видим в палетке или даже чуть ярче.
Палетка теней для век Electric Pastels
Палетка с ой, какими яркими оттенками. Но, потом, когда начинаешь их рассматривать, понимаешь, что все они носибельные, да и половина из этих оттенков скорее пастельные – трендовые в сезоне весна-лето. Поэтому палетка, несмотря на свою сочность, задержится в моем бьюти-арсенале.
Тени сияющие, шиммерные, наносятся равномерно, не осыпаются.

В этой палетке оттенки спокойнее, в теплой гамме: кирпичные, огненные. Также все сияющие и шиммерные, за исключением одного матового – самого светлого. Этот оттенок скорее служит базой под тени, на него хорошо ложатся и растушевываются остальные оттенки.

Я нахожусь под впечатлением от этих оттенков и пигментации. Могу сказать, что это лучшие палетки теней, которыми я пользовалась за последнее время.
Affordable Price Point
I like to mention this point last, because I don’t like to lead with price. Like, if the first thing you have to say about a product is that it’s cheap, maybe it’s not that good. In this case though, the low price point is just the cherry on the sundae. I would buy this palette even if the price was higher, just because it’s amazing AF. But for 20$ at Target, it’s kind of a no brainer!
Alright guys, that’s all for now. To sum it up, this palette is really one of my fave beauty products right now. It makes me curious to look a little more into NYX. I have 3 of their lip lingerie matte liquid lipsticks, from when the Kylie lip kits were all the rage, but I usually don’t wear a lot of lipstick and I guess the extreme matte wasn’t really for me? I’ll have to check out more of their products and see if they’re all as great as this I love you so mochi eyeshadow palette!

В рубрике Wanted мы делимся новинками из мира красоты, которые хочется заполучить прямо сейчас. Сегодня мы облизываемся на новую коллекцию NYX, во всем похожую на японский десерт моти.
Моти (он же мочи) — японский десерт из рисовой муки. От обычных кексов и булочек его отличает текстура: пирожные моти мягкие, упругие и бархатистые (за счет крахмала, в котором их обваляли перед продажей). А внешне моти — просто словарная нямочка: маленькие пастельные комочки, которым так и хочется дорисовать мордочку и глазки (и ведь дорисовывают).
В общем, следующей весной нас ждет очень кавайная коллекция макияжа с игривым названием Love You So Mochi («Я моти тебя люблю»). Да еще и мягкая — каждое средство имеет текстуру тех самых моти, то есть пружинит и проседает под пальцем. Удержаться и не потыкать в каждый сектор теней не получится (вот и у автора фотографии в Instagram-аккаунте NYX не получилось).
Всего в коллекцию вошло две палетки теней (нейтральная и яркая) и два набора хайлайтеров (для светлой и для смуглой кожи). Цены вращаются вокруг 20 долларов за средство, а точная дата поступления моти в продажу неизвестна — хотя счастливчики из США могли купить средства коллекции в «киберпонедельник».
Кстати, поклонники k-pop группы BTS уже выдвинули теорию, что коллекция была создана в честь Джимина — участника BTS по прозвищу Моти. Кто знает. Но цвета определенно его.

Палетку от Никс ругают за плохое качество и поведение на коже, хвалят за красоту. Я отношусь к числу последних.
Люблю тени NYX Love you so mochi за:
- разнообразие оттенков;
- продуманное сочетание цветов;
- прекрасную отдачу и мягкую текстуру;
- возможность создавать макияж пальцами без использования кисти;
- прекрасную способность растушевываться, не превращаясь в грязь и пыль.

Палитра продумана до мелочей:
Крайний оттенок — абсолютно матовый, кремовый. Он подойдет для растушевки, нанесения под глаза и высветления кожи под бровью.
Остальные тени NYX Love you so mochi — шиммерные с металлическим финишем. Некоторые можно причислить к сатиновым, правда, с большой натяжкой (зависит от способа нанесения и используемой базы).
- Второй оттенок — холодный розовый. Оставляет на веке серебристый след с небольшим намеком на розовинку.
- Третий — серо-сливовый, подойдет для нанесения на все века и создания смоки-айс, рисования растушеванной стрелки.
- Четвертый — мягкий теплый коричневый. Подчеркивает голубой и зеленый цвет радужки глаз, придает взгляду глубину.

Особо хочу отметить кораллово-лососевый оттенок. Он напоминает румяна Nars Orgazm, имеет освежающую золотинку и не придает заплаканный вид.

The product contains 10 eyeshadows, the majority of which are shimmery. There is only one matte for a neutral color. The rest of them are funky, like peach, coral, tans, purple, yellow, bronze, brown and black. The eyeshadows do not have names for their own. They are numbered from left to right, you can check at the bottom of the palette.
The first one is a kind of creamy beige. It turns out to be very pale on bare skin, used as a base before laying transition shades. Its color payoff is rather mediocre. Very sheer and pretty chalky in a matte finish.
Next is a frosted peachy pink. Its pigment is beautiful. Fairly blendable and buildable by fingers or makeup brushes. This literally gets me an ethereal color for wedding days.
Come to another, a striking metallic bronze. I’m really into this. It sparklingly glides onto skin and makes your eyes pop once and for all.
The number five is a glittery champagne with a cool undertone, one of the must-haves in an eyeshadow palette. It has been a universally iconic beauty trend. Very blendable, I’d love to sweep it all over my eyelids.
Moving on to a sparkling, deep brown, which is so splendid with excellent pigmentation and a bit dense, sleeking texture. I think this is one of the most gorgeous eyeshadows of the palette.
Then, we have a pearly tan, giving a thinner texture than the warm deep brown. Its color payoff is pretty. Stress-free to diffuse and build up for opaque coverage in the absence of patchy marks.
The number eight is a bright coral pink with a golden sheen. It’s so sweet, giving slightly more intense color payoff than the peachy pink (number two). Its texture looks very slick achieving full coverage.
Last but not least, there is the darkest eyeshadow, a black with the flecks of silver glitter. It seems not very pigmented. The texture is semi-transparent and hard to blend out evenly, it looks like a smudge. Its formula may be quite poor.
As its promise, all of the eyeshadows, especially metallic ones, are soft and squishy when pressing my fingers on top of them. By the way, the product does not have any particular smells. I think the product is cool, but I still crave more matte eyeshadows that can be paired with these frosty babies.

Not to mention those who are god-blessed with naturally gorgeous features. The others may need makeup to do tricks, like enhancing, symmetrizing or evening here and there.

И завершая обзор новинок серии Love you so Mochi, покажу вам 4 оттенка пудровых помад, из 8 существующих.
Формат этих помад смело можно назвать помады-кушны, наносятся они с помощью мягкого кушн-аппликатора, создавая эффект пудровых губ, а если захотите, трендовые зацелованные губы получаются также идеально. Кремовая текстура с матовым финишем совершенно не пересушивает губы, благодаря чему макияж губ получатся идеальным. Правда, нужно будет приноровиться к такому аппликатору. Мне сперва было очень неудобно пользоваться этой помадой, но через несколько раз получилось. Вся загвоздка в том, что этой помадой сложно сделать ровный контур – только тренировки или карандаш для губ в помощь.

NYX Love You So Mochi Palettes | Swatches + Review
Another day, another snowfall. We’re expecting another 10-15 cm of snow here today and I have to work this evening so I’m reallyyyyy hoping that I don’t end up having to dig my car out at the end of my shift. My reprieve from the frostiness outside that is winter? These new NYX Love You So Mochi Palettes, which are fun, bright and bubbly, which might not entirely make sense (but trust me, it does).
Inspired by the Japanese treat, the NYX Love You So Mochi palettes each contain 10 silky, bouncy (yes, bouncy) shadows. I’ve gotta say, they really pack a punch. Most of the shades, especially the shimmers, have incredible pigmentation and staying power. The lighter shades take a bit more, and the two glitter shades in the Sleek and Chic palette could be a bit stronger, but the rest of them really blew me away.
I love the texture of these; they glide really nicely on the skin, stay true to their colour and are really showy. Of the two palettes, I have to say that the Sleek and Chic version really caught my attention after swatching and wear. The colours are gorgeous and flow so seamlessly together. If you like to play around with colour, you’ll adore the Electric Pastels palette with its fun pinks, blues and a kickass yellow.
The NYX Love You So Mochi palettes have great texture – the shadows have a bouncy feel to them and they feel silky upon applying, gliding smoothly onto the skin and blending in really nicely. I find they set really well and have quite a bit of staying power, lasting for quite a while without a need to reapply or boost.
(I’m going to apologize for the rough texture of my skin here – it’s gotten better, but I was dealing with this really fantastic rash for a little while – yeah, gross)
Seriously though, after seeing these swatches how could you not want to give the Sleek and Chic palette a try? The colours are so heavenly and I’ve worn this several times now for a warm look as you can see below.

Formulated with Silicones, Minerals and Polymers
The NYX Love You So Mochi Eyeshadow Palette is available in two color assortments, Pastels and Peach-toned. It promises to deliver 10 bouncy, velvety eyeshadows in matte and shimmery finishes. First and foremost, comes with pillowy, silky textures for superb flexibility and blendability.
The formula consists of many silicone-based compounds, such as Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Trimethylsiloxysilicate and Triethoxycaprylylsilane. The majority of them are conditioners and viscosity-increasing agents to result in sleeking textures, excellent spreadability and slippery sensations. Moreover, they are able to provide anti-foaming, emulsifying, lubricating and binding properties.
There are some other chemical ingredients. Nylon-12 is a kind of synthetic polymer, which does its job as a texture enhancer, opacifier and thickener to improve the softness of consistency with bold coverage. Also, it can help decrease the shine with its mattifying activities. Magnesium Stearate is used as an anti-caking, lubricating, bulking and emulsifying agent. It not only gives silkiness but also keeps the emulsions from separating into their oil and liquid elements.
Furthermore, the products are infused with an array of mineral substances. Calcium Sodium Borosilicate is a glass-type material to impart a sparkling, pearly finish, but also functions as a bulking agent and preservative. Next, Tin Oxide is included in the formula to coat Mica in order to reflect light in a certain way and result in bright colors.
Silica is usually found in sandstone, clay, granite and even, plants and animals. It helps minimize light reflection as well as absorb sweat and oil as an absorbent so your makeup can stay in place for longer. Silica is versatile to provide abrasive, anti-caking, opacifying, bulking and suspending activities to increase pigmentation and spreadability.
Similarly, there are Alumina and Aluminum Hydroxide for anti-caking, texture enhancing, opacifying, abrasive and coloring agents. FYI, the opacifying effect is meant to reduce the clear, transparent appearance.
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite is commonly referred to a synthetic mica, which creates the flakes of shimmer to suffice a lustrous finish and work as a colorant. In addition to mineral pigments, like Mica, Iron Oxides and Titanium Dioxide, formulated with Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Carmine (CI 75470), Ultramarines (CI 77007) and Manganese Violet (CI 77742). Finally, there are some preservatives, such as Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate and Phenoxyethanol.

My eyeshadow collection seems to have a significant lack of colour lately. As much as I love a good neutral palette, it makes it way too easy to stick to a routine of a ‘safe’ makeup look. As I’m sure you know by now, I’m a big fan of all things bold & bright. I was hungry for a new product I could regularly use to add more of a pop to my eye makeup routine.
NYX Cosmetics has satisfied my cravings for colour with the launch of their new collection; I Love You So Mochi.

This new & limited edition collection from NYX features two eyeshadow palettes (‘Electric Pastels’, & ‘Sleek & Chic’), and two highlighting palettes (‘Lit Life’ & ‘Arcade Glam’). I truly wanted to buy the whole line; it’s all so gorgeous, and extremely fun to poke if we’re being totally honest.
NYX Cosmetics describes the texture of these shadows as ‘marshmallow-like’, and I can honestly say that’s spot on. If you’ve ever tried the ColourPop Super Shock Shadows, you’ll recognize the squishy-soft consistency found in this palette.
All of these shades found in the Electric Pastels palette have shimmer, so if you’re partial to matte finishes this likely won’t be for you. Though the Sleek & Chic palette has a combination of shimmers and mattes, and is equally as beautiful!
I immediately noticed how pigmented these shadows are with even the lightest of touches. They are very buildable and blend out beautifully without losing any colour payoff. I find these work best when applied with your fingers, but if you’re a faithful brush user, synthetic is the way to go. Blending them out with a fluffy brush gives them a diffused look that I LOVE.
While these look glittery in the pan, they have a beautiful reflective sheen when applied. Plus the shade selection is just so damn pretty!

Based on swatches alone, I’m already head over heels for these colours. Though I’m especially loving shades 3, 6, & 9. I know they’ll play nicely with my existing palettes; shade #6 with the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette? Hell. Yes. Some of these shadows could even double as highlighters (particularly shades 1 & 2 for those with fair complexions). I’m so excited to incorporate more fun & vibrant shades into my eye looks!
